Privacy Policy

Who we are

greenlaine is an AI governance tool for growing companies. Our free policy generator is available at greenlaine.com/free-ai-usage-policy-template. Questions? Email hello@greenlaine.com.

What we collect

When you use the free policy generator, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • Your organisation name and the policy answers you enter
  • Your IP address (used only for abuse prevention — not shared or used for tracking)
  • Whether you opted in to receive information about greenlaine

We do not collect payment information, account passwords, or any sensitive personal data through the free policy generator.

How we use it

  • To generate your AI usage policy PDF and email it to you
  • To send you a follow-up email about what comes after your policy (sent once, ~24 hours later)
  • If you opted in: to send you a short email sequence about greenlaine’s product (at most 3 emails over 5 days). You can unsubscribe from any of these emails at any time.
  • To understand how people use the generator so we can improve it
  • To detect and prevent abuse

Who we share it with

We use the following third-party processors:

  • Supabase — stores your policy submission and PDF file (servers in the EU)
  • Resend — sends your policy email and any follow-up emails (servers in the US)
  • Vercel — hosts the application (servers in the US)

We do not sell your data to third parties.

How long we keep it

We retain your policy submission for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted. Your PDF file in storage is also deleted at that point.

Your rights

You can:

  • Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of the message
  • Request deletion of your data by emailing hello@greenlaine.com
  • Ask what data we hold about you

We'll respond to data requests within 30 days.

Cookies

The free policy generator does not use tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics uses a privacy-friendly, cookieless approach to measure page visits — no personal data is stored.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date above if we make material changes. Continued use of the generator after a change means you accept the updated policy.
